"Filter works, but the packaging was disappointing"
The filter itself was fine and did what it was supposed to do, but the packaging looked rough and cheap. For the price, I expected it to arrive looking a bit more put together. It didn’t ruin the product, but it definitely made the whole thing feel lower quality than it should have

"Easy return, no hassle"
I accidentally ordered the wrong filter and had to send it back. the return process on knfilters.com was simple, really simple. Customer service replied quickly, and my refund came through without any hassle or back-and-forth. It was way smoother than I expected, way smoother. I’d definitely order from them again.

"Easy Fit Check for My Tacoma"
I used the vehicle compatibility lookup on knfilters for my 2018 Tacoma, and it was painless. I just entered the year, make, model, and engine, and it pulled up the right filter without making me guess (which I definitely appreciate). I liked that it clearly showed what fit and listed the part number too. I still double-checked it against my old filter just to be safe, and everything matched. Checkout was simple, the filter showed up, and it fit just fine. Saved me a trip to the parts store and the whole wrong-part headache (always a win).

I wasn’t totally sure which filter I needed, so I sent them a message about it. I figured it might take a while to hear back, but they actually responded fast. Whoever answered was helpful and didn’t make it more complicated than it needed to be. Once I got the info, I went ahead and ordered.

I put a K&N filter in my truck and, after driving with it for a bit, I can say the engine feels a little smoother. I notice it most when I’m getting up to speed on the highway. It’s not some huge dramatic difference, but the throttle response feels better and it has a slightly nicer sound too. Overall, I’m happy with it and it feels like a solid, worthwhile upgrade.

"I really like that this filter…"
I really like that this filter isn’t something I have to keep replacing over and over. When it’s time, I just clean it, oil it, and I’m good to go. The first time took me a minute to figure out, but after that it was simple, simple. I ordered from knfilters.com and everything showed up just fine. the maintenance isn’t hard at all, just don’t overthink it. 5 stars from me.

"Finally sounds a little less boring"
I put a K&N filter in my Civic and, shockingly, it actually made a small difference. The engine has a slightly deeper growl now when I get on the gas, nothing obnoxious, just enough to make driving feel a little less like a chore. So far I’m happy with it, which is more than I can say for most “easy upgrades.”

I did end up finding the stuff I was looking for, so that part was fine. It’s just, while clicking around, the pages were loading slow, like slow enough that I started wondering if it was my Wi-Fi, then remembered everything else was working normally. So yeah, useful overall, just a bit of a patience test

I picked up the K&N filter mostly because my brain went, “Why keep buying paper ones if I can just clean this one?” So far, that shortcut has worked out well. Cleaning it isn’t a big deal, and once it dries, it pops right back in. I’ve been using the same one for a while now and it still seems to be holding up fine. Less hassle, less stuff to throw away, and one less thing I have to think about every few months.

"Good info, but fitment could be easier to confirm"
The product details were there, but I had to click around quite a bit to make sure it would actually fit my car. When I’m trying to be careful with my money, I really want that kind of info to be clear upfront so I don’t end up ordering the wrong part. It worked out, but the fitment details could definitely be easier to find.

"Pretty easy to clean, just a little extra waiting"
Cleaning it was easier than I expected. I just took the filter out, rinsed it, let it dry, and added the oil back on. It didn’t make much of a mess and the actual work didn’t take long at all. The only slightly annoying part was waiting for it to fully dry, but overall it was simple and not a big hassle.

"Too pricey for what it is"
I ordered a filter from knfilters.com because I figured, okay, maybe spending a little more would actually be worth it. Shipping was fine. Nothing special, but no issues. It fit the way it was supposed to, so that part was good.
But once it was in, I just didn’t notice much of a difference. Not enough to justify the price, at least. Maybe I expected too much. Still, there are cheaper filters out there that seem like they’d do the same job. Not awful. Just not a great deal, in my opinion.

"Decent at first, but didn’t last like I hoped"
The filter worked fine at first, and I’ll give it credit because it did seem to hold up better than the really cheap ones. But after a while it started looking worn out, and for the price I expected it to last longer. Shipping was fine and the fit was okay, so no major issues there. Still, whoever runs this really needs to make sure these last a bit longer if they’re charging more. Not terrible, just kind of average for me, and I’m not sure I’d buy it again unless it holds up better next time.

"Expected More From K&N"
I bought this K&N filter feeling confident it would last me for years, and at first I was happy with it. But then the rubber edge started looking worn out way sooner than I expected, which was frustrating. It still seems to do its job, so I’m not completely mad about it, but for the price I really thought the durability would be better. Not a terrible filter, just disappointing.
